I’m a reporter.

I was a correspondent from Tehran during the Ahmadinejad administration and I witnessed the immense generosity of Iranian people and the eccentricity of their Government.

I briefly reported from Turkey and Kazakhstan as a business correspondent.

While working in Italy, I dug down deep the extravagant Bunga Bunga parties organised by former PM Silvio Berlusconi, I experienced the oddities of far-right political movements and I investigated the Mob's long reach on nuclear waste management.

I wrote a book, “Diventare Sorelle a Tehran”, the true account of the imprisonment and the brutal torture of 33 young Iranian women for opposing the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. It was awarded by Amnesty International.
